
Students enrolled in S in STEAM have been learning about the role that plastic plays in our environment. Not all plastic or metal can be recycled so students turned what would be thrown away into art!





Students in our Medical Interventions class are studying the effects of bacterial conjugation on antibiotic immunity. Here they are streaking their plates with 2 strains of E. Coli. These colonies will then be incubated for 24 hours and inspected in their next class!




As part of his senior project, Dylan Johnson helped lead the Introduction to Sports Medicine class by setting up mock physical therapy simulations!



Mrs. Morton received a grant from King Arthur Baking Company through their Bake for Good program. Enough flour and yeast were donated for culinary students to prepare bread to donate to families in the community as well as enjoy a loaf with their own families!



Thank you to the Girl Scouts from Troops 53, 221, and 136 who planted 100 tulip bulbs in the rotary garden!

Yesterday AP Government students received a visit from Rhode Island Secretary of State Gregg Amore! Mr. Amore talked to students about the history of voting rights, and why it's so important to vote.




Unified Volleyball won their playoff game with a 3-0 win against Pilgrim Thursday night. They advanced to the Championships where they played a great game, but lost with a final score of 21-25. Amazing job Spartans!



Last week the US History I students presented the Federalist and Democratic-Republican Party platforms and read and deciphered primary source materials!


Last week Culinary Arts students learned about yeast, gluten, and preparing dough for pizza and pretzels!




Students in Introductions to Art have been doing a fantastic job creating ceramic foods!



Unified Volleyball played their last regular season home game against Ponaganset last week and celebrated Seniors!



This weekend the Scituate High School band performed at the parade on a beautiful Veteran’s Day!





Did you know that the Education Pathway Endorsement offers a Working With Children class? This past week the class worked on planning and implementing Halloween activities with Middle school students!


Seniors in Mrs. Stormont's AP Literature and Composition used hexagons to examine character, event, and idea relationships in Celeste Ng's novel Everything I Never Told You.



Congratulations to Kate Nickerson who has officially committed to continue her academic and softball career at Southern Connecticut State University!






The High School Band enjoyed a beautiful afternoon leading the annual Halloween parade last week! The band’s next community service parade is The Veterans Day Parade tomorrow at 10:30am. We hope to see you there!




Mrs. Roberge traveled to Baltimore, MD and attended the National Association of Biology Teachers conference this past weekend! She also ran two workshops that highlighted activities that are a part of our curriculum at the high school! Fantastic work Mrs. Roberge💙🤍
