Academy of Music & Music Education

Band director leads students through a rehearsal in the auditorium

Scituate’s RIDE-approved Academy of Music and Music Education is uniquely designed for students who wish to explore a career in both performance and teaching.

Student musicians will be given the opportunity to perform as soloists and in small and large groups, as well as collaborate with professional instrumental and choral ensembles. Students will work closely with mentors, and take part in masterclasses, performances, and industry partners, as well as mentoring younger students themselves.
