Cupcake Wars have begun! Students in the Culinary classes are designing themed cupcakes for a competition.
Finished products will be on display in the library for voting next week!

Students in Physical Earth Science experimented with Newton's 1st Law of Motion by working with dominos this week! It was a challenging way of finishing off their unit on inertia.
On Thanksgiving Day, the Scituate Football Team defeated the Johnston Panthers 36-18 in a highly anticipated matchup! The game showcased the Spartans' determination, teamwork, and resilience as they battled through cold conditions to secure the victory.

Students in Mrs. Stormont's AP Literature and Composition class enjoyed using hexagonal thinking to explore connections among important elements in Celeste Ng's novel Everything I Never Told You.
Culinary students have been busy preparing many yeast dough recipes. They made bagels from scratch, cinnamon rolls, calzones, and of course everyone's favorite pizza!

Our football team just wrapped up one of the best seasons in Scituate football history. Records were broken, memories were made, and the heart they put into every game was unforgettable!
With a big senior roster, these players have left an incredible legacy that will be felt for years to come. We’re going to miss seeing these seniors on the field, but we’re so proud of everything they’ve accomplished. Here’s to a season we’ll never forget, and to the bright future ahead for Spartan football!

This past week the Culinary Arts students started the Bread Unit learning about yeast and the different methods of preparing dough!
Students in US History II Honors have been deeply studying the Armenian Genocide as a key element of their unit on World War I. As a hands-on activity, students participated in a simulation of the trial of Soghomon Tehlirian. Students empathized with his story and came to a greater depth of knowledge via the simulation.
The Working With Children class designed visual aids that they plan to use when teaching students at North Scituate Elementary School!

The Scituate DECA chapter traveled to Johnson and Whales University last week to participate in the annual fall conference!
On October 25th we held a district-wide pink out day! Our football and boys soccer team raised money during their games, and the middle and high schools sold pink donuts and collected donations. All elementary schools also helped to raise funds and all together the district raised $1,675 to donate to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation! Way to go Spartans!
Students in Mrs. LaSalle’s & Mrs. Dailey’s geometry class worked on a group activity to discover the Triangle Inequality Theorem, which states how to determine when a set of lengths will or will not form a triangle!
