Principal's Message

Principal's Message Image
Welcome to Scituate High School, the Home of the Spartans!
Ours students, teachers, and staff have worked together to create a community committed to perseverance, creating opportunity, and helping others, all while we strive for personal and academic success. Scituate High School is dedicated to helping you reach your goals, whatever they may be. We provide every single one of our students with opportunities to grow and learn the skills they need to be successful on any path they choose.
We have set high academic standards, and we provide meaningful instruction and personalized, student-centered learning experiences to help our students work toward personal achievements. As a small high school, we are able to provide opportunities that larger schools cannot, all while preserving a tradition of excellence in a family atmosphere. These philosophies extend beyond the classroom - students are encouraged to be involved in a wide range of award-winning athletic, arts, and social co-curricular activities.
Scituate High School is flourishing with new ideas and new initiatives as a direct result of our community working together and I am very proud to be the principal here. I invite you to explore our website and learn about the many opportunities our students have and the many ways our parents and community members are involved.
Go Spartans!
Mr. Michael D. Hassell, Class of 2001
